A lot of Race For The Galaxy purists will try yo convince you New Frontiers is an unnecessary iteration. I beg to differ! I love RftG, and New Frontiers replaced it for us.
It quickly became one of our favorite games, which is why it’s one of the few games in our collection with two – count ’em: TWO – sets of metal coins!
The first set is the same @fantasycoin_llc “Credits” set we use in Race and #RollForTheGalaxy to replace the victory point chits.
The second, since New Frontiers actually has money, is this awesome set of sci-fi coins from Minion Games!
Both sets are very unique and have a great weight, feel, and sound. It’s a spendy upgrade with two sets of coins, but well worth it for such a fantastic game!
