So, while the box isn’t as perfectly optimized as some others I’ve made, everything still fits in the box really nicely, and I accomplished the goal I set out to do: to get all the content into a single box. Oh, and to give the game the logo we all know it should have!
The box is a really nice size, just slightly shorter than the two boxes combined and a little bit wider.
Everyone knows this is the logo the game deserves.
The player boxes are part of the design that needed to be a little bigger than necessary to make everything fit in the box just right. But they work great. (For some reason my phone decided to make the Purple box look very, very blue. Trust me, in person, the Purple and Blue boxes look very different.)
The tile boxes.
The card boxes.
The dice, coin, and executive component boxes.
I decided to split the dino meeples into two boxes for each type, so they could be shared across the table easily.
Below you’ll see the layers of how everything packs into the box. One of the things I try to do with these custom designs is ensure the internal boxes sit as close to flush with the lid as possible, to offer the lid more structural support and prevent any chance of dishing. This one worked out great.
The box on the shelf!
I hope y’all enjoyed these pics of my latest project! Let me know what you think. I hope everyone’s staying safe and getting some gaming in.
