During all the random Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales, Thunderworks Games had the metal coins for Roll Player on sale for HALF PRICE. $12.50 for 60 coins was a deal I just couldn’t pass up.
Thing is… I don’t actually own Roll Player. ? Yep. I bought the coins on price alone, without a game to put them in.
But you know me. Coins find a way.
I looked through my games for a generic fantasy theme, and found several. The issue? Because the Roll Player coins only have 1 and 3 denominations, the overall value of the set is pretty low. So… Clank to the rescue!
Turns out the total coin value is almost exactly the same as the included coins, and a thematic enough to be a great fit!
And, honestly? The coins are GREAT. They’re a nice size, heavy and chunky, and a fantastic design. I think they’re great, *especially* at 20¢ per coin!
