Tonight, I’d like to show you my first set of Historical Metal Coins from @Giochix! This is their “Celtic Apogee” set, a perfect thematic match for #IsleOfSkye!
These are genuinely decent metal coins. They’re a good size and weight and have a great feel and sound.
They’re pretty shiny, which can sometimes make them hard to differentiate across the table, but they’re not too bad. Their designs are very shallow relief, which makes the different themes hard to tell apart, but that might only be a problem for people like me. ?
But at less than 25¢ per coin, they’re a fabulous option for upgrading your favorite historical games. I’m glad I backed them on Kickstarter!
