The metal coins are part of the deluxe edition that just showed up on KS backers’ doorsteps, and man are they great! They’re a little thicker than what I’m used to from TMG, which is definitely a good thing. Even though the 1’s are a little small, the coins overall are nice and heavy (heavier than the #Orleans coins), with a satisfying sound and heft.
They’re pretty thematically linked to Gentes, but I think if TMG makes them available on their own for a reasonable price, they’d be a great addition to any game with an ancient theme.
