The Tokaido Collector’s Edition is such a beautiful version of an already gorgeous game. I’ve always wished I could afford the full Samurai pledge version. Alas, only retail for me.
Luckily for my particular proclivities, the retail version still comes with metal coins! These are absolutely great, thematic, bespoke coins that perfectly augment the game, and I love their weight, thickness, and sound.
These can be purchased separately from the game, and would be a fantastic addition to any game with a Japanese theme and single-denomination coins.
